The other side of life!

This was a little project that Winkie did before school ended. He punched out the shape of all the different continents and assembled them all together on a chart to make an atlas. And then, he brought it home. It is definitely not scaled to size. Far from it. Europe is so much huger, almost as big as Asia. The Asian subcontinent has simply drifted away from the rest of the landmass *shudder*. And the spellings...Oh the spellings!! And these are just some of the ad hoc things that add to the major cuteness factor. I almost forgot all about this project, until it caught my eye a week ago as I was clearing out some clutter. And just in time for the trip coming up, for it could be out to the best possible use. After 2 hours of playing around shining and polishing, it is ready.

And so this is it. This is my post #300. Any silent readers....do take this opportunity to say hi and register your readership. :D

All future programming will now be broadcast from the Chennai shoreline! It will be a different feeling to blog from India and I almost feel like I won't know how to write....my brain is so wired to think in this familiar setting. Anyway, that's a moo point, as Joey would say.. For now, I wonder more about how Thambi will do on-flight. Or maybe I don't. :)

Wishing everyone a wonderful Mother's day! See you all in a few days or weeks. My sister is getting married and the emotions will be strong, and the days hectic. And life as always, will flow.
